Ben Hosking - Editor in Chief

Ben Hosking has been our fearless editor since issue 107 and has overseen the magazine go from strength to strength by increasing both the quality and the popularity of the magazine. He is now the acting Editor in Chief, relinquishing the Editorial role to Ben Nightingale.

He lives and breathes Street Commodores to the point where we are now unsure if he has a residential address as he hasn't left his office for quite some weeks now.

Ben is currently working on two magazine project cars that will see a twin turbo Alloytec find its way into the engine bay of his clean white VP, while his animal old-school 'SatinSix' VH will rattle your windows thanks to a trusty Holden six pot of death.

Ben Nightingale - Editor

Street Commodores readers will be no stranger to this particular team member and his bright yellow VC project. Nightingale spends most of the day in Photoshop performing custom race-inspired modifications to his 'Flying Banana' and giving those press vehicles the thrashing of a lifetime which some been known to never recover...

Ben likes to spend his spare time sucking up every available pre - 1985 Holden part on eBay he can find and verbally assaulting Stoney to get him to actually do something constructive whilst at work. Still no success

With the L67-powered VC and newly acquired UC Torana daily drive car, no doubt Ben's eyes will be getting more bloodshot as weeks go by as he learns to deal with receiving less and less sleep.

Liam Quirk - Feature Writer

Liam is our resident VL freak and also happens to be our talented feature writer. Most of the words you read in the magazine recently would have come from deep inside the twisted canals of Liam's brain.

Liam's Commodore palate isn't just limited to the VL however, with Liam also owning a sweet VB SL/E that gets used to do most of his pimpin' thanks to mega comfy interior and on guts stance. Whatever you do, keep an eye-out for this guy's magazine project car in the future as the white wonder is going to get some serious horsepower upgrades thanks to a RB25 head and Garrett T04Z huffer. His only project goal: to beat Stoney's Ute.

It won't be long before we see the Nismodore VL out there tearing up drift tracks and drag strips around NSW with economy being based on tyres per 100kms rather than petrol.

Jackson Drewett - Feature Writer

Jack is a simple man whose sole passion in life is dedicated to the sustained loss of traction through a vehicle’s driving wheels. That’s right, we are talking about burnouts and Jack is the office resident skidologist who makes the simple act of doing a burnout sound more like an art form than an act of mechanical torture.

Much like Liam, Jack’s weapon of choice is the VL Commodore and his insatiable appetite for boost has seen frequent trips to the local drag trip in an effort to keep his addiction to a controllable level.

Keep an eye out for Jack’s mint original VL Turbo Calais and follow it’s transformation from a neat street cruiser into something that should be kept away from children at all times.

Scott Stoneman - Production Editor

Nobody around the office seems to know exactly what Stoney does on any given day, but with further investigation it was found he is our official 'Production Editor'. Stoney has recieved quite a name for himself at Street Commodores with having owned just about every model of Commodore to have ever been made in every engine and trim combo imaginable.

Stoney has many project cars, but due to frequency of vehicle rotation, none of us can actually work out quite what they are. We have seen him pilot VU SS ute to work a few times so one can only assume that the Stoneman has big plans for it.

Stoney's spare time is soaked up by MySpace and searching for more cars to horde. Stoney has an amazing ability to avoid having his photo taken, with the ones you see here being bought to you at the cost of a photographer's life. It's only a matter of time before he works out how to hack the webserver and remove them, so I'd advise you to quickly save them to your hard drive.

Chris Sorgsepp - Web Editor

Chris's job is the result of a joint project between NASA scientists and the Street Commodores crew to study what effects that prolonged forum exposure has on the Human Brain. So far things are going pretty smoothly leaving out that Chris has been recently spotted driving a green Nissan Micra.

With Chris living some 100kms from the office in Sydney, he ditched the idea of keeping his 5-litre VK for something that made a little more economic sense to drive on a daily basis. A nice neat VS V6 was then purchased and a new project was born.

With recent trips to the Western Sydney International Dragway proving to be highly addictive, expect to see Chris out there more and more to try and find just how much boost the poor Ecotec V6 can take.
