Back in issue 113, our engineering correspondent John Varetimidis was talking about suspension upgrades and modifications. During this column John mistakenly referred to up-rated aftermarket bushings as ‘Nolathane', a registered trademark of Redranger; a long-standing advertiser of this very magazine.

We are very sorry for this stuff up, however it does bring to light the common misconception that brought about this error in the first place. In truth, Nolathane is in fact not a material or substance, but a brand name.

When many people refer to Nolathane bushings in their car, they are often referring to bushings made of polyurethane. No doubt, the generic public misuse of the term Nolathane has been brought about by the company's impressive market share in the Australian industry and long history of providing Australian drivers with quality suspension products.
