Toll HSV Dealer Team chasing back to back wins a Symmons Plains.

Toll HSV Dealer Team drivers Rick Kelly and Garth Tander are said to be coming out with all guns blazing when they return to Symmons Plains this weekend, hunting for back to back victories.

Tander, who won all three races last year, believes that their Commodore is even better suited than last year which should give them edge to come out in front when taking on the challenging 2.4km circuit.

Kelly, who came in at third overall last year, agrees that the weekend should see “a fair dinkum battle” take place at the Launceston circuit.

With Craig Lowndes and Rick Kelly being separated by only 30 points leading up to the Tasmanian round, the pressure is even greater on Lowndes with a Stewards Hearing scheduled for Friday to discuss the two separate penalties imposed at Indy for illegal burnouts and chicane cutting, which lead to Lowndes making some controversial post race comments.

Todd Kelly has the qualifying lap record at Symmons Plains of 51.9962s which he posted last year.
