With project VS now housing some sweet FIT 1.97:1 rockers and 5/16 pushrods, it’s time to head back out to Western Sydney International Dragway to see if the higher ratio rockers will equate to a reduced ET. The rocker installation was quite painless, taking only about one and a half hours to completely install with an improvement in power and responsiveness noticed by the first stab of the throttle. 

But wait, there’s more! Our Production Editor Stoney has just snapped himself up yet another ride to add to his collection. This time the automobile tycoon has landed himself a stock as a rock black VU SS ute, and it will be out this Wednesday night carving up the Sydney Dragway making its track debut. What plans are installed for this Gen III powered beast? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see because truth be known is that Stoney himself is still unsure. Either way he wants power, and lots of it!
