East Coast Holden Club holds its first Show and Shine |
The newly formed East Coast Holden Inc. Car Club held its first Show and Shine in the Autobarn car park at Port Macquarie. With fantastic blue skies came an equally impressive turnout with passers by getting the chance to drool over some very well presented examples from the Holden stable.
Club President Jarrad Tattersall formed the club after a tragic motorcycle crash robbed him of the use of his legs, leaving him wheel chair bound. Since the creation of the club a few local sponsors have jumped on board and the club now goes from strength to strength with a variety of Commodores, Monaros and Statemans turning up for club runs. Strong club ethics and a passion to create an event with road safety as a prime concern and having a friendly image is a must for any car club to grow and be successful within the community, and with the Commodore cruise scene growing around Australia there is no doubt that the East Coast Holden Club will be hosting some very impressive upcoming events. Stay tuned!
