It has been speculated for some time that Australia’s favorite family car will be getting a diesel option, one that Holden engineers are keeping fairly ‘hush hush’
It is interesting to note that as of October this year, anybody in Europe will be able to purchase a Cadillac CTS and tick the diesel option. Powered by a 3-litre VM Motori built V6, the mill is said to produce around 250HP. This motor was the same one tipped by experts to be used to power our humble Commodore, being praised for it’s tons of torque down low in the rev range. No official release from Holden at this stage, but it’s simply a case of when rather than if.
