Drag racing fans will now be getting a dose of high octane racing in their living rooms from the 2007 Summernationals event at WSID. The highlights from the Top Fuel and Top Alcohol classes will be screened on Channel 9’s Speed Machine program, as well as SBS’s Speedweek.
Other Group 1 races from the ACDelco East Coast Nationals can be seen on SBS this Sunday from midday onwards.

The following week, Channel 9 is airing highlights from the 2006 USA V Australia Top Fuel Challenge. There you will witness Phil Read make history when he runs Australia’s first ever 4.5 second pass, as well as Scott Kalitta’s 4.517 at 332.84MPH – the quickest and fastest run seen anywhere outside of the USA.
