With the VE Commodore in the running for the prestigious World Car of the Year award which held over many months comes an announcement today of the unveiling of the Top 10 finalists. The VE Commodore went head to head with 27 other vehicles from around the world in the bid to find the best vehicle available based on the judging criteria of styling, performance, handling, comfort, safety, environmental responsibility with significance and emotional appeal.

The VE was originally nominated by Australian Motoring journalist Bill McKinnon because of its performance in all the nominated categories.
